How to grant access to keypad users

  1. ADD USER - in VIZpin.net portal, go to Additional Actions>Manage Users and click Add Card/FOB user in top right.

    1. Name as you wish

    2. Change card type to 26-bit wiegand

    3. enter xxx-xxxx where the first three numbers are the site code, and the numbers after are the code you want to authorize

    4. Save

    5. NOTE: At least 80% of your overall users must be smartphone user. You will only be able to add new users if you are within this ratio.

  2. GRANT ACCESS - go to Grant Access>Grant Card Access>Grant by ROLE

    1. Select the user you created and click continue

    2. Select a role (or create a new one, will be 24x7 as only option)

    3. Click Grant VIZpin

  3. UNLOCK WITH SMARTPHONE FIRST

    1. Any user with a valid smartkey in their app will need to refresh the app (refresh icon in top right)

    2. Unlock the device

    3. Recommend doing this 2-3 times per code entered to make sure was applied

  4. TRY KEYPAD CODE

    1. Enter code on keypad

    2. Indicator light on the door/gate controller should go from pulsing red to green for successful unlock
