How to grant access to keypad or 3rd party fob users

 

  1. ADD USER - in VIZpin.net portal, go to Additional Actions>Manage Users and click Card/FOB/Other tab

    1. On right hand side, click the Card icon to add a new Card or Keypad code user.

    2. Name as you wish

    3. enter xxx-xxxx where the first three numbers are the site code, and the numbers after are the code you want to authorize
      NOTE: When using the Entegrity VIZitor Access Keypad, the site code will ALWAYS be zero. (Example 0-1234 if you want the code 1234 to be assigned)

    4. Save

  2. CREATE CARD/KEYPAD ROLE - go to Additional Actions>Manage Roles>Manage Card Roles

    1. Click the “+” icon in order to create a new role

    2. Give the roel a name

    3. Select which devices you want the role to have access to by changing that device from None to 24x7

    4. Save

  3. GRANT ACCESS - go to Grant Access>Grant Other Access

    1. Click the filter icon and select “Pin/Card Users”

    2. Select the user you created and click continue

    3. Select a role

    4. Click Grant Access

  4. UNLOCK WITH SMARTPHONE FIRST

    1. Any user with a valid smartkey in their app will need to refresh the app (refresh icon in top right)

    2. Unlock the device

    3. Recommend doing this 2-3 times per code entered to make sure was applied

  5. TRY KEYPAD CODE OR CARD

    1. Enter code on keypad or try your 3rd party card

    2. Indicator light on the door/gate controller should go from pulsing red to green for successful unlock
