How to Replace a Bluetooth Fob Battery

The Entegrity Smart long-range Bluetooth Fobs use a CR2032 type battery. If you have pressed the button on the fob and you do not see the indicator light change status to red or green at all, you may need to replace the battery. Please follow these steps:

A small flat head screwdriver can be used to pry the two halves of the fob apart:

Push the coin battery out of the holder.  It should slide towards the bottom of the fob.

Place a new battery flat side up, and slide it up into the battery holder.

Place the top half of the fob face down on a surface.  The cut notch on the rubber button should be in the lower left side as it faces you.  This is to leave the components on the circuit board uncovered.  With the battery facing you, place the board into the top half of the fob.  Then place the bottom half on top and cnap the plastic shell shut.

Press the button and confirm that you see the LED light flash.  If you do not, please repeat the steps again and ensure that the battery is seated properly and the rubber button does not cover the components on the circuit board.
