What wires should be used with a Door/Gate Controller?

When connecting electronic locks or power supplies to the door/gate controller (VP2), 16-24 AWG solid or stranded wiring can be used.  22 AWG wire is typical for building security use.  Crimped ferrules are recommended when using stranded wire.
