Can I have my door unlocked for longer than 5 seconds?

By default, smart devices are set to have a 5 second relay time, which means when a user unlocks the door it will stay open for 5 seconds before relocking automatically. This can be adjusted on each smart device for a different relay time if you prefer. Below is a chart of the available relay times depending on the type of smart device you may have along with instructions on how to adjust it.

HOW TO ADJUST RELAY TIME
Login to VIZpin.net
Navigate to Additional Actions>Manage Smart Devices
Click “Edit” next to the smart device you want to change
Adjust the relay time field to your preferred time, keeping in mind the limits in the above table
Click Save
Click OK on the pop-up window
In order to apply this change to your smart device, a user must refresh their VIZpin Smart app and then unlock the door twice to apply the change. Then going forward, the door should remain open for your new selected time frame.
NOTE: You can check the “Last Updated” column on the Manage Smart Devices page to see if your update was applied. If that column is still yellow, you should have a user try refreshing and unlocking again.
