Smart Lock is Beeping
When you have a battery operated device, if the battery level drops to low, it may cause the smart lock to go into a rebooting cylcle which produces an audible beeping noise. If that is the case, you will need to check to ensure your battery pack is secure and/or your battery levels are good.
Use the operational key that came with your smart lock to manually unlock the door to get to the interior side of the lock.
Unscrew the battery back on the bottom to remove the tray. You can try reinserting the battery tray and re-securing it to see if it was perhaps just had a loose connection. If the beeping stops you can tighten the screw and check your smartphone app to ensure the door will unlock with the app.
If the beeping continues after tighening up the battery pack, you will need to change the batteries. Replace with 4 new AA Alkaline batteries. Reinsert the battery tray and test to ensure smartphone functionality.
