External Relay Installation

The Entegrity Smart Door/Gate Controller has an internal relay that is rated for max. 750mA @ 12-24V DC/AC. When an electric lock or strike needs more than these ratings, an external relay is necessary. Compatible relays are commonplace and can usually be found at most electronics and auto parts stores.

Here is a “single pole, double throw (SPDT)” relay:
