To properly set the permissions for the Entegrity Smart Intercom app, please allow all of the prompted permissions. Many of the required settings will not be found until after launching the app and trying to place an outbound call. |

iOS
Please verify that bluetooth is on. You can do this one of two ways - by swiping down to open your quick setting menu and making sure the Bluetooth symbol is highlighted, or by going into Settings and verifying that Bluetooth is on. If it is not, please make sure this is turned back on.

You also need to verify that the app has permissions to use a bluetooth connection. You can do this by going into Settings and then scrolling down towards the bottom of the screen until you see the VIZpin SMART app. Tap on it to see the permissions granted to the app itself. You will need to verify that Bluetooth is enabled on this screen as well.

Android
Please verify that Bluetooth is turned on. You can do this by either swiping down from the top to see the shortcut options or you can go into settings and verify it is on.

If you prefer to only allow the permission while using the app, you must uninstall the widget or you will receive that permission prompt each and every time you use the app.

After installing the app, the first prompt will be to allow “Entegrity Smart” to use Bluetooth. Please select OK to allow.
The next permissions can only be set when trying to place your first video intercom call. While within range of an Entegrity Smart Intercom device, please search for a user that has access to unlock. When tap “Call”. On your first attempt, you will be prompted for Camera Access. Please tap OK. You will then be prompted for Microphone access, please tap OK. Both of these settings are required to use the Entegrity Video Intercom.
You can finally now verify the proper settings for the Entegrity Smart app by going to Settings > Entegrity Smart. Your permissions should match the following:
Android
After installing the Entegrity Smart app for the first time and then launching the application, you will receive 3 permission prompts. The first is to allow access to the camera (1), the second is to allow access to location services (2) and the third is to allow access to nearby devices. Please note that we do not use your physical location. Android has included Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) as a part of it’s location services.
